Teaching your French bulldog to relieve himself in the street is something that will drive you crazy the first few months at home, although they are very clever when they are puppies they do not control. The muscles of the urinary and intestinal tracts are not fully formed, like babies, for that reason they need to have a fairly frequent bowel movement. 

By observing your puppy daily, you will know when they will need to urinate or deposit, for example: after a nap, after a play session or after drinking. You can teach your puppy to relieve himself wherever you want. You should choose a place in the house (which should always be the same), you can use newspapers or pads, and never place these products in a place where you do not want him to relieve himself, as you will confuse the puppy. 

You must choose an order such as "pee", "washbasin" or "do it" and you can use it for when you want him to relieve himself in the right place. It should always be the same order, do not tell him the toilet today and do it tomorrow, because he will not understand what you are saying.
